Lisa Bevere is the author of the best selling books Out of Control and Loving It!, The True Measure of A Woman, You Are Not What You Weigh, and Be Angry But Don’t Blow It! Her most recent book, Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry, was released in April of 2002. A dynamic speaker for retreats and women’s conferences, Lisa is also a frequent guest on radio and television broadcasts.

Through her books and messages, Lisa shares her journey in which she battled cancer, survived an eating disorder and overcame some tumultuous relationships. Priscilla is the daughter of Promise Keepers’ speaker, author and pastor, Dr. Tony Evans. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Jerry.
